Paradise Lost Series
This piece was inspired by Milton's epic poem, Paradise Lost.

Incandescence
What was a study for another piece, Adamo Caduto, became, in its own right, the metaphor for that moment of inspiration when the mind blazes with the realization of a creative idea.

Le Sorelle
A composition in the tradition of The Three Graces, these figures dance around a central pool each contributing her part.

Nereid
This figure represents the ideal of female beauty. It was inspired by the famous painting by Bottichelli.

Eros
The adolescent god of Love is shown at a moment of rest, regarding his handiwork.

Transition
This figure was inspired by a gesture from contemporary dance. It is one of my best-selling works in bronze, and has been selected by more than one collector to be installed nearby to, or in a pond. Transition intends to intensify the feeling of movement in a static sculpture by depicting the momentary pause between two movements of a dance

Elements

The Elements series comes out of reading Plato's “Timaeus” wherein he outlines the cosmology that underlies the whole Platonic doctrine. Fire, Earth, Air, and Water are the basic building blocks which comprise the universe. In combination, they make up all matter. As metaphors however, it seemed to me they could represent those fundamental human drives, states of mind which combine and recombine to make us who we are.
